What I Do Outside Of Work.
Spoil my daughter. Go on spontaneous dates with my girlfriend. Watch cheesy romantic movies. Warm up my cereal for 50 seconds. Listen to Baby Bash. Have Big Girls Don't Cry by Fergie on repeat. Eat traditional wings. Avoid peanut butter b/c of the texture. Try to grow a mustache. Buy shoes I don't need. Wait until I'm on empty to fill up my gas tank. Fall asleep before midnight. Put ketchup on almost everything. Attend free wine events. Don't wear plaid shorts. Tye-dye shoes. Drink margaritas. Don't swim on the deep end. Collect books that I never read. Use calculator when tipping waiter. Count with my fingers for simple math (yes, even 1+2).
How I Work.
Relearning from the origins to how the design is presently viewed. Using any surface that is flat to research and sketch as in depth as possible. Thinking about the issue of the project and trying to solve it, even if it means dreaming about it until it's solved. Organizing the entire process and tracing back for any new ideas or for reference. To understand the project from all perspectives, the ins and outs, and how it is being used to communicate with the audience.
Falling in love with the process just as much as the final product.
